M favorite is his very first book, Carrie. It did not scare me but made me cry. I also like Pet Sematary, Christine, and the Dead Zone. I don't like Gerald's Game and Needful Things. I find them gross.

I was not able to read any books that he had written but I have watch the movie versions...I like the Needful Things and Carrie. I am a big fun of his. He has a very good imagination and able to translate them into novels and evetually into movies which really are big accomplishments. He must be very rich by now with all that success and fame he has achieved in his lifetime...which a very rare...and very very few people are able to achieved.

I have been reading Stephen King's books since i was a boy and one of my favorite has to be Salem's Lot which i had read about 25 years ago. I remembered finishing that book through the night and was scared stiffless! I much preferred his books in the early part of his writing career like Carrie, Salem's Lot, IT where his genre was pure horror unlike his later books which has a psychological bent to them. Gerald's Game and Needful Things were some of them that i did not enjoyed. In my mind, his greatest book was "Talisman", his collaboration with Peter Straub, which was an extremely well written and exciting book.
