My friend just told me she's pregnant again with her 3rd child. She's only 25 and when she has her 3rd child, that will make it 3 kids under the age of 3!! Wow! I can never do that! I think I will go insane. I don't know how she is going to handle it but this is what she and her husband wants and she said this will be their last one. I hope she is at least able to potty train her first child by then. If not, she will have 3 kids still in diapers! Wow! I'm still in shock trying to comtemplate all this. Do you know anyone who did something like this?

I wanted our kids close as well but decided (once we had our first) that we wanted to leave it a little longer between kids so we could spend the extra time with our first & we could get on top of everything & be more financially stable for a 2nd baby. We're hoping to try for #2 near Xmas so there will be around 2 1/2 years between the 2 but i guess we'll have to wait & see how it goes! My sister in law has 4 kids at the age of 22 - they're 4, 2 (twins) & she just had her 4th last month. My other SIL, who is also 22, had her 3rd last month as well, 3, 2 & the newborn. I dunno how they manage either, i have enough trouble with just the 1 sometimes!!! I guess it depends on how close people want their kids, how well they can manage with so many little ones & also whether they can afford to have more than 1 in diapers at the same time - finances i think are always the main reason for having kids when people do!

Yeah...I'm sure they will be ok financially. They are trying to save up a little more now that they know they are having a 3rd one.

I couldn't do it but my mom did with me my brother and my sister she made it and she had all three of us by the time she was 22 years old. The good out come is that she will be young and able to enjoy life when we are all of age and out on our own.

Yeah...has its pros and cons, I guess. It will just be too much stress for me, I think. Plus, I like enjoying them one at a time :)

my sister did the same thing her oldest was 6 yrs old then she had another then another, and another...the last 3 are all within 3 years. you never know how u will handle a situation, and when you are in that situation you don't know how u handle it. you just do it the best you can and hope that it all turns out all right. my first two are 2 years apart and my youngest is 17 years younger than his next sibbling. i'd say closer is better hehe.

Three children under the age of three will be challenging for your friend. I hope she has a large home and lots of energy. I know a lady that tried fro 10 years to get pregnant. Then she became pregnant after having IVF. She had triplet boys. She had to get a push chair with one seat at the front and two at the back. Buying baby things for three was quite expensive. She didn't work outside the home until her boys were 5 years old. The early years were tiring but quite delightful .

I have a friend who have triplets too. Boy! I have no idea how she does it. She said she has to have a very strict schedule and just stick to it. Must be really exhausting. I'm tired just having 1!!!

I am not one to have 3 kids under three, but my two are very close together. They are 55 weeks apart to the day. They are now 1 and 2. My youngest sister will be 26 Jan 1st and she has 4 kids already and the oldest is 9, then her next will be 5, then her third will be 4, and her youngest just turned 2. Her middle two are actually 50 weeks apart and I thought she was crazy until I did it myself. It does have its advanatages though, like you get everything over with sooner, meaning diapers and bottles and stuff like that. Tell her good luck and to have fun!!

I have 2 kids .My son is 3 years old.And my daughter is 22 and a half months. So they are kind of close in age.People actually sometimes think they are twins since my daughter is catching up in height to her brother.LOL.I didnt plan on having them that close in age.But it happend and I love them both.It is a challenge though.Especailly whent hey are in diapers, and in the process of potty training them.I dont know if I want a third child though. But if I ever do it will be when my duaghter is at least 4 years old.Just think of people that have 10 kids.I dont know how they do it.LOL.

Yeah...I don't know how she's going to do it cos' she hasn't even started potty training her 2 year old yet. I told her she better get a start on that...else she's going to end up with 3 kids in diapers! She'll go broke just buying diapers! LOL!!

I can totally understand what she is going through. I have a 1yr old, 2yr old, and am due October 5th with our 3rd and final and am only 23. It is really not all that bad. I have 2 in diapers and so when one needs changed I just change both. I don't see it being much more of a problem with adding another. I am just glad that we are having the kids while we are young and have a bunch of energy. My mom also had 3 under 3 so maybe it is hereditary lol.

Yeah...this is how she has planned it and wanted it as well. So, it's not like it's all unexpected and she feels overwhelmed or anything. She's really happy and I'm thrilled for her.

Yes, our neighbor had 6 children. They don't have a big house to sheltem them, they don't have any source of income to feed their kids. I just don't know they handle this.

That's sad though. My view has always been this..I don't care how many children you have or how close you have them...as long as you can take care of them.
