i am being called tita-aw by my family and other relatives instead of
my real name.
if my memory serves me right, that name came from my niece when she was still 2 years old.
how about you, do you also have a nickname? do you know where it came from?

My Full name is Mark Anthonie. My co-worker or some friends that are not close to me call me Mark, my close friends call me Mark or Chubby or Chubs coz i'm a little chubby. In the family my parents and old relatives call me Anthonie and they cannot call me Mark coz my 2 brothers have a name Mark also in our first names, then my brothers and cousins call me Tonz or sometimes Kuya Tonz coz I'm the eldest in the family.

yes i do have my parents gave me a nickname 'tito'it came from the bible name,my niece and nephew called me tito tito coz tito is tagalog definition of uncle.

My grandma always called me Nining it means little girl. But still they call me like this even i am already adult. My ex boyfriend long time ago called me Nhing because he said for him i am cute and pretty. hahahha thats makes me laugh just a sort of memories.

My name is Danielle, but it proved difficult for my baby brother (he is 20 years younger). He began calling me Nina and it stuck so that the adults call me Danielle, but all my nephews and my niece call me Aunt Nina.

Yeah, i too have a nick name and my family calls me by "ran" i.e. the first three alphabets of my name.

All my nephews and nieces call me "naning" it came from my now 7 year old nephew, instead of calling me "tita ninang" (aunt godmother) he calls me naning so now all of them call me tita naning or naning.. :) and I love it when they call me like that..so sweet of them.

Of course, I do have my nickname and it's Ian. My real name is Adrian and obviously, the "Ian" term was just taken out from my real name to make it short.. LOL
Some of my classmates also call me "Aid" and I also like it.

My nickname is Squeak.
When i was at school, the girls named me that, because i was small and quiet like a mouse. And it stuck. They also named my partner Ian, EO. Because it was shorter than Ian and sounded cool. That's stuck too.
