Does looks really matter?

to somebody,it really matters.but,to me,inner beauty is more important.because I think as days pass by,it can not be avoided that we human will get old,so can the outer beauty,but the inner beauty will not fade.

I guess both is as important... I mean okie, that person doesnt have to look like he or she is the most gorgeous person on earth, but at the very least he or she shouldnt be someone who looks detestable.. If really so, who would even wanna get near them? But i think inner beauty is more important... As its the character that brings the person out... Lets say he or she isnt tt gorgeous, but the good character certainly brings out the beauty that he or she is lacking in looks, agree?

inner beauty is permanent and outer beauty is temperary,so inner beauty is more more important,u cant get along with a outer beautiful person with ugly inner beauty,so whats the use of outer beauty

it shouldn't matter in a certain degree, beauty is skin deep, however, you have to be physically and sexually attractive to the person with whom you are going to have a relationship otherwsie it wo'nt work. on saying that is true that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" one person might find repulsive and someone else might perfect.

For me, I would attracted on his looks first, but later on I'll look on his inner character.

actually both are important. it's sad to say but if you aren't physically attracted to someone then you aren't likely to get to know their inner beauty. now there are the friendships that are created without reguard to physical atractiveness but those friendships are created without the thought of future romance, even though sometimes romances do develop. inner beauty is deffinately a persons more "attractive" traits but sometimes it's hard to show that real person to the world.

A person who is beautiful inside always receives good comments. Most people with a good heart deserves to be happy for life. He or she gains more friends, respect from others and love by others. If you are a good looking person, nice face, very pleasant to look at because you are beautiful but these kind of looks don't last for long. If you grow old, you don't look as good as you look when you were young. It doesn't last forever.
