Some of us have a tendency to melt easily. I do not call this a negative or undesirable trait. In fact it is a gentle and noble trait. But it can sometimes cause us difficulties or place us in an embarrassing position, particularly when our sympathies are lent to undeserving persons. I had some such experiences.
How do you experience?

Yes I am the person who melts easily on any matter. I find myself in trouble sometime because of this. Now I am trying to analyse first then say yes or no. In this way I can avoid myself putting into unnecessary problems. There are tricky people who uses my type of people for their personal benefit and when it is fulfilled, they leave me as I am. Though I avoid to take any help from anybody, until it is most urgent.

Thank you for response.
We have to keep in mind that it is not always possible to pre-filter people and their requests. In a real-life world, particularly when the time available is limited in our daily work schedule, we have to trust somebody. Hence, the moment a person asks us to do something which has a 50% probability of misfiring on us, we can't straightaway say no, though we want to say no. In such cases, if the stakes are low, better to give the other guy a benefit of doubt. Often he may not let us down. When he deliberately let us down, we may have to take it on our stride, though he may laugh within his own mind that he could hood-wink us. summary: Wherever the quantum of loss (money or something else) is likely to be small, better we continue our compassionate nature.
Not taking help from anybody is a great "vratam". But it is very difficult to maintain it. I admire you.

Well, i am not that type that easily melt. It's just i know where to stand. If it's a serious topic then i can be one, if not then i can be a clown.
So better know your limitations. But sometimes we can't avoid things like that. Maybe i'll smile for a change.
