Too much dependence on computers is good thing or a bad thing?

It is hard for us to imagine what kind of life we will live without computers. Nowadays people are using computers to do almost everything for them. on the one hand, the use of computers greatly speeds up our work's efficiency,makes ourlife more comfortable and convenience; on the other hand, it also has a lot of drawbacks,. for instance, too much relying on computers makes people lazy and results in less job opportunities.
what is your opinoin about the use of computers in our daily life? Should people feel suspicious of the benefits of computers?

Hello,shenzhouplaza ,computers have allowed us to do many things faster and efficiently,withput computer,we will be very inconvinient,we may use computers to store data which can be sorted out in a short time,without computer,it will be a tedious task to sort out information manually.
But may be we have relied to much on computer,in case the system is downed,we will left stranded in that situation.

Good comment, Easy888. You have discussed the issue from both sides. If the system which controls some vital departments such as nuclear weapon console down,what is the result?

yeah, computers are nothing without people's programming.so which direction will computer technology lead to is completely controlled by human beings.

I am so terribly dependent on computers myself. It is quite hard to survive if I don't have access.
They are terribly useful and you can't myLot with a computer lol. :P
But I do agree that too much dependence on anything is bad.

everything in this world is of good benefit to all of us, but too much of it wil surely have a bad effects also..People should not be so dependent on things that they know it can help ease their work..Too much dependent also in computers can have side effects just what you have mentioned..
