Chatting is really fun and it's really easy to catch up with a few friends at the same time. I used to use ICQ because all my friends were using that, then all of a sudden, people moved to MSN, I had to follow. Now I only use MSN to chat with friends or make appointments with them to meet. But these days after I have been actively participating in mylot, I find myself switching on MSN less and less. I guess I am more happy here chatting with people from different countries *laughs*.

How true! I hate being distracted when I am writing something on mylot or even writing my own blogs or articles, I have to be 100% in the writings, otherwise I would lose the plot and don't know what I am saying. So I really prefer a non-disturbed environment for that.

I like Skype. It's the only one I use now. None of my friends type, so we use VoIP more than IM. Skype has the best sound, never crashes, and rarely ever drops a call. Windows Live Messenger kept failing to locate server, while Yahoo! Messenger dropped calls and usually crashed at least once during every Windows session. I don't know how good their latest version is, but it was really bad several months ago.
I found a little package on the web some time ago that turns Skype into Portable Skype, allowing me to take my profile and all my contacts on my flashdrive. But it's been awhile since I've used it. Last time I left it on, someone in Romania hit me up, and we wound up getting rather intimate.

I use yahoo messenger since I'm use to it. It's easy to use. All my friends use yahoo messenger so I don't think getting a different messenger.

I only have one that I use, that's AIM. I don't really get on yahoo! that much so the messenger is rather useless to me. MSN has never been a good one for me. I used to use ICQ all the time, but I dropped that one, too. Most of my friends are on AIM so that's the method I use regularly.

I have lots of chat messenger, including Yahoo messenger, MSN, QQ, ICQ, Popo, Fetion... Most of the time I like to use MSN. If I want to transfer a big file, QQ is the best.

Personally, I use all three messengers that are available to me. Because of this, I tried Trillian for awhile to get them all to work at once all together, but I found that I wasn't very fond of that, just for the fact it didn't really allow me to archive conversations or see my other people's display pictures.
So I use MSN. I have about thirty contacts on there. I also use Yahoo. I think I only have about twelve contacts on there, but they're rarely online. They're mostly people I used to talk to and still consider my friends. I also use AIM/AOL, but it's been so long since I"ve been on that messenger, I don't know how everyone is doing.

I use MSN messenger at work. Then Yahoo at home to chat with friends. I seldom login YM because I'm not really the chatter type. At work, if I need something from my friend who uses YM, either i chat thru MSN live messenger or I use online chat service - meebo.com. You can login to any messenger thru meebo. ^_^

I have everything mentioned above. But I don't use them all at once, that would create commotion in side my pc plus with all the messages popping up, I couldn't work anymore. Plus most of the people in one messenger is the same one on the other messengers as well. But if I don't have anything to do, I try to open them all up. Just to avoid expiration.
On the other hand, if I do want to open them up and work at the same time. I open them all up on my laptop while I start working using my desktop. Pretty neat.
