Where do you sit inside a classroom? In front or at the back?

I always prefere to sit in the back. I like to be able to see what is going on in the room. It might be a controle thing. I go nuts if I have to sit in front. I constantly want to turn around and see what is making the noise, who is wispering etc.

I used to sit in the front but not in the first bench..probably 2 nd or 3rd benches and always sit with my friends.I dont like sitting at the back.Many say that pupils sitting at the back benches dont study well..but i cant agree with this concept.

I love to be in back benches because me and my gang at school . college and university was the naughtiest and we do some act to make class like a fish market :) and we love to do that and to do that you have to be invisible from the teacher i think so :)

Hello,argie,when i was a studnet in high school,i liked to sit at the back of the classroom as i did not always pay attention in class,sometimes i would chat with my classmates or fall asleep.in sitting at the back,i would have less attention from the teachers and could do what i want in class.:)

When i was in high school we have sitting arrangement most of the time it is arranged in alphabetical order based on our surname, so my sitting position is always on second raw at the front. In college, some follow same procedure but the others we have the option to choose our own. I hate to be in front raw, i feel awkward with my professor, i prefer at the middle so i can look at him/her straigth. But if the professor is the one i least like, i prefer sitting at the back near the door so i will be the first one to exit the class once dismissed. =)

Before i used to sit in the back but now i sit in front. Its much better in front, thrust me!

I too prefer sitting in the back of a classroom to avoid attention. I am rather shy so I prefer in back or at least the middle of the room. Of course, sitting in the back does not always work as teachers sometimes ask questions to the people in the back first. Sitting in front would make me too nervous. Sometimes we did not have a choice as the teachers would sit us by alphabetical order by last name.

I always tried to sit near the back as you get away with more!

I was always the back becher in my school..! It was fun..!! I never sat on front seat ..!! Always a back bencher. :)

Like you, I too like sitting at the back. However, we sit there for different reasons. I take the back seat so that I can sleep if the lesson is boring. Besides, it is easier to make it to the exit.

I like to sit in the back.Because I like to sleep in the class if the teacher was boring to learn or I didn't like the lesson but it affect to my eye now,I'm wearing glases now...I need to more focus to the board so it make my eye become minus...

In the middle sideways of the classroom. in this way I could have a look outsight the class from the window.

id prefer to be seated at the back so that the prof wont notice me sleeping! haha..

I always prefer the back benches.I get so much sleepy in the class that i have to choose the back bench.If its required i go for the second bench, but i never quite like the first bench. The only time i ever sat in the first bench was in school.Then you have to sit where the teacher asks to. But here in the college you are free to sit where you like to.And again sitting in the first bench makes me so uneasy.

Same here. I always want to sit in the back of the class. :) I just do not feel comfortable because more often, professors tend to ask those who are in front. And to tell you honestly, I cannot stay put. LOL When I am in class I tend to sit the way I wanted to, and I do not want my prof to notice the way I sit. I also am a texter so even I am in class I text a lot hahaha :) More of a bad girl huh? Seriously, I also listen but I just cannot take it when the eyes are on me. :)

In my college days, i love sitting at the back of our classroom.Since our circle of friends love to sit there and usually having our chit chat.Lol. You know college days.Its real different compare the last semester i had.It was when i earned my units in education.I sit infront of our classroom because i wanted to focus when our teacher was having a discussion.

i always prefer to stay in front of the classroom. since i wear glasses, it is more comfortable for me to see whatever is written on the board. i like it also in front so that i will hear everything that the teacher say. it makes me feel less sleepy in front because it makes me aware that hte teacher can see whatever i am doing.

I often sit at the back of the classroom, because I'm tall, but now I'm short. I like sitting at the back, then I feel more freedom, I often like to talk with my classmates when the teacher is writing something on blackboard. I feel very excited if the teacher doesn't find me talking with others. I like to sit in the front of the classroom when my favorite subject is going on.

Hi friend, Nice question...... I also used to sit at last or back table. Me and some my friends always sit in near by dear.. Mainly we are not interested in class. Only maintain the notes upto date. And starts studying only one or two days before the exam. If any strict professors come, we will not play but sleep..... If any others come we will play small small games..... If use hour is mathematics there is no any way to enjoy we listen to class at all. In short college life is fully enjoyment.......... Thank you dear, take care......

I always sit at the back and i like that place..Same here even i don't like to be in lime light and i feel very comfortable at the back.. If you feel like listening to her then we can study or else we can rest also...
