is it easy to become a single mom or single dad?

I am a single parent of three beautiful kids:) for nine years now, and it is an experience that I wouldn't give up for anything in the world! I didnt choose to become a single mom, thats just the path my life has taken me....being a single parent is the same as having a family, the only difference is you STRIVE harder than most to provide all this world has to offer for your children. I love being a single mom, if anything, I feel that I am better off that way! I don't have time to go out searching for "the one", because all my time is invested into my kids, my school work and household chores:( (not to mention MyLot)...lol... To answer your question, I will leave you with this; "Nothing in life is easy! When you have children, it is no longer about what you want, It's all about what THEY NEED"

it is not a case of is it easy to become a single parent lol, it just happens that way sometimes, and you deal with it as best as you can. i am a single mother, and i just live my life and deal with my problems in the same way as anyone who lives in a two parent family... things can be hard sometimes, but then again they can be if you have a partner too, my only major advantage over some single parents is that i have a fantastic family who support me 100% and give me help when i need it.
