Do you have terms of endearment with your romantic significant other? Its really nice to hear those sweet words that comes out from the mouth of the people we care about and the people we love. My mother just calls me by name and also my father. I hear them calling each other mommy and daddy, and I find it so sweet. My boyfriend calls me bebe and sometimes when Im in the mood to be romantic call him pap. But when I get angry I really call his complete name with middle name and even his title. LOL How about your mylotters do like to be called with a sweeet name or do you have terms of endearment?

I tend to call my husband baby most of the time. I never actually use his name to address him directly, it's weird, because I call him by his name when discussing him with others, just never say it to his face, I also call him honey, sweetie or babes or darlin! He calls me many pet names mostly sickly sweet as well like baby or honey, and often calls me pet names in his mother tongue which is Telegu, names like pandu (which means fruit) or bangar thalli (which means "golden mama")! When I am angry with him I don't call him anything just directly shout at him and not using baby or honey or anything like that at all! x

My hubby calls me Misheleen, hence my name here on Mylot. He also calls me momma. I call him Daddy or Yoyo. It's a variation on his name. If either of us ever use our full names, we automatically think the other is angry with us..LOL

As of the moment I never called my boyfriend any terms of endearment. Maybe I'm not that type of person. Sometimes I try to call him "daddy" but just for a joke. Am I weird? Lol! I'm opposite of my partner, he always call me as Mama or Mommy. At first, I was kind of irritated but then after 8 years I guess I just let him call me like that. I just call him by his nickname, it sounds much sweeter than anything else.

Soon you will get used to the idea of calling him with sweet nothings. Maybe you are not that type of person but soon enough you get used to it.

My bf who was the one who thought of an endearment for us..He proposed "BABY" because if we call each other "BI", they wouldnt notice it that its a "BABY" term because his name is BOBBY and my name is BETTY...just the closest people around us that knew it is meant to be "BABY"..sometimes he just call me baby and its heartwarming.

The significant other and I call each other honey. I cannot help but smile everytime I remember this term of endearment. It's because it's my honey who chose the word. And he was the one who started it, I was beside myself with happiness and "kilig" because I never even thought he will be the one to initiate the endearment thing.

My partner always calls me Babe, or Bella lol. I think the only time he calls me by my name is when he's discussing me with his buddies, or if he's angry at me LOL. I call him Babe, or Honey. Again, I call him by his name when I discuss him with my family or friends, and when I'm angry, I use his full name LOL. He HATES that.

My husband and I call each other "bucko". I think it started first as kind of a joke, we would say things like, "You better watch who you are talking to, Bucko", and eventually it turned into everyday term of endearment and we say it in public when we don't even realize it anymore! We also call each other honey, I call him Hubby, he calls me Wife-O.
