Right fellow Geordie maniacs with the news weve missed out on Ben Haim who now should we turn our attentions to. Obviously defence is the main priority but who realistically can big sam get in. Imo we should make a move for bridge, that psg centre back and beye. I know ebondo has been mentioned but I dont think we'll get him. Also with swp looking for a move I think we should move for him also. The Team should look something like this which I think would make top 6 next season
Given
Bridge
Tayler
Rozehnal
Beye/Ebondo
Wright-Phillips
Barton
Emre
Duff
Owen
Martins
I know its all if's and but's but I would be over the moon with a team like that all fit and tactically aware under big sam

possibly he might but at least he wont be costing 8.5m. Dyer I think will play a big part. Can you imagine the possibility of dyer, the zog, viduka and say luque on the bench. Thats alot stronger than the happenings of last year, edgar, pattison etc, not saying theyr'e not talented but there time will come.
Also luque should be given a chance, scored the winner against palmero and still got dropped, i think most of our attitudes would be the same if that was us. Come on sam sort him out, this guy has the talent trust me on this one !!!

Wayne Bridge will be a great signing yea !!!!great idea but i doubt ebondo and beye .... I think newcastle should get rid of kieron dyer also yea . Then try to lure kevin nolan to newcastle also . Emre and duff is solid on the left side already , strikers have viduka , martins ,owen and the unwanted luque as back up .Hopefully luque can play better this season yea ... i think he can be given some time to prove .I not sure bramble should had gone so early .... but i think steven taylor surely not up to standard to fill the back four yea ..... I had no idea who to sign for defenders but the season gonna start in months time .. so i think if there are any exprience players avaliable newcastle should grab while they could yea

i hope you guys keep Owen, but to me it looks like Big Sam is setting him to be sold, probably to Liverpool. I think Viduka will partner Martins next season. Wright-phills is a wicked idea. I think he could fit really well into the Newcastle team. I think with regular footy he'll be a quality player. Not sure how good those defenders are. I think Ben Haim would have been nice for you. You could also take a look at Wes Brown if you wanted. United would probably sell. Another guy who i really rate is Lescott, so he'd be another to put on the list. I really see big things in Newcastle's future under Big Sam.

not sure about wes brown, never really rated him. Being ex cardiff players I'd take a gamble on Collins or Gabbidon from west ham, quality defenders. Another player thats being spoken of is boateng, not heard much about him but at 1m he may be worth a dabble

Gabbidon is another good one. Wes is a little risky i agree, but for the experience he would bring i could see him doing well at Newcastle. I bet you must be glad Titus Shambles has gone? At least you have Given, for me the most under-rated player in the prem.

Haha. Poor guy, he was clearly never good enough for the prem. I dont remember where he's gone now, i believe Portsmouth, but good luck to anyone who has him. Everyone rated him when he was younger and i was telling them he was AWFUL. Same with Heskey, all my buddies told me how great he was going to be and i told them flat out he was a disaster of a player and NEVER Liverpool quality. Although, i had some mares myself. I've been known to be a Mikeal Silvestre fan. I love how passionate the Geordie fans are, i've been up there a few times with Man United and you guys literally sing your heart out all game, no matter whats happening.
