Ron Paul 2008?

How many of you are interested in voting for Ron Paul? If you are, do you consider yourself a Republican, Democrat, or Independent? I have considered myself as an Independent, but have usually favored the Democrats. Ron Paul is making me take a hard look at registering as a Republican so that I can vote for him in the Primaries.

To be honest with you I haven't paid a ton of attention to any of the candidates. I've seen and heard them all at some point and like some, dislike others but really have no basis yet. I think it's simply too early to be doing the 2008 primary stuff myself. I'll probably start paying REAL attention in the fall.
I'm registered a democrat but truly think of myself more as an Independent because I will never pull a straight ticket. I vote on the candidate and where they stand, not on their party.
