Did the lie lead on to other things? What happened? Did you suffer for it?
I made a big lie to my parents, my brother got caught shop lifting because my cousin did it and influenced him, and then i got in trouble for leaving him that day because i bumped into my friend and i lied about it and got grounded for a month. Kind of confusing to explain and its a long story, So what did you lie about?

A couple of days ago a guy told me that a friend of mine wanted to sleep with her not knowing that she was my really good friend. I called her back and told her that he said it and she told me to tell him no. When I told him that she had said no he started freaking out so we lied to him and said that we were joking around and hadn't really told her.

I did.
I told him I didn't love him anymore, even if the thought hurt me a lot. I did it so that he won't worry that I get hurt with him loving someone else. He was my best friend.
I lied in the hope of getting over the hurt, but it didn't go away. Each time I see him or talk to him, I feel hurt and angry at myself.
But life must go on.
Anyways, to keep things a little lighter and less 'emotional' here's a joke about lying:
A minister told his congregation, "Next week I plan to preach about the sin of lying. To help you understand my sermon, I want you all to read Mark 17."
The following Sunday, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, the minister asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many had read Mark 17.
Every hand went up.
The minister smiled and said, "Mark has only sixteen chapters. I will now proceed with my sermon on the sin of lying."

I don't like lieing. When I do they are small lies. Telling the truth is easier, I don't like keeping secrets or not being truthful.
