Would You Be Able To Cope Up IF Your Long Term Best Friend BEtrayed You??

This Is happened to so many times now that i dont even remember now...but the first time it happened it was different...i was not used to it and so it left me completely shattered and broke...it was my long time(5-6 years) friend of mine who was with me since school days...we use to have a good time together and got along really well...i use to consider him one of my best friends...and till one day i got to know something terrible about him...he has been making fun of me and insulting me behind my back...i was so dissapointed in him and to an extent in myself that i considered to be in company of such ruthless human being and called him my best friend....since that day it has happened to me with a lot of friends getting along well and then jsut one day they start behaving abnormly and do something silly...although i no longer care and dont let such things affect myself...but i have been very cautious in making friends now and i guess now i am paranoid about it...do you think due to such things friendship is becoming a lesser valued thing in our society....thnaks for your opinion...

I have been burned so many times by so-called friends. they all use me up and throw me to the side and cuss me out and you name it. I am very leary to try to get to know people anymore because they all treat me very bad in the end and I cannot take it any more. It is very hard to find a friend you can fully trust these days.

hi there...i know what it must feel like when friends use u up and then thow u cuz it has happened to me many times but i think we must learn from such things and try and be clever to avoid such things...after all life is a survival race the best wins....thanks for replyin...take care

I know it. I still get treated badly by everyone I meet. I do not care to meet new people anymore either because they always betray me no matter what I do. I am tired of trying to be friends with people. They could care less about me and they only use me for what they can get from me or they just want to drive me nuts.

first of all if my so called best frnd betrayed me it s very clear tht he/she is not my best frnd. evn is ths so clled frnd did somthng to me tht hurt me to very large extent thn i ll syrely cut my ties wit him/her. but b4 finishing off completely i ll surely tell tht frnd tht wat he/she did was very wrng n i hope u too will in ur whole life go thru somthgn lik ths.
