Storywriters on Mylot!!!

I for one am very guilty of taking something normal that happened in my everyday life and trying to spice it up by adding parts that are ridiculous or embellishing a lot just to make it more entertaining. I would hope that people would recognize that I'm doing that and not take me too seriously.

Actually most of the real life stories are possibly true but it has been years since the actual event probably happened. Once I was watching a TV show and out of the blue, I remembered something I had forgotten. That may account for someone talking about when they had their first child or what their toddler did when now they are in their seventies. Also the more you write, the better you become. It is called self-editing, a thing most writers like myself are aware of. Oh, and just because a person on myLot may be a fiction writer does not mean that person is fabricating a story and passing it off at real life. That is why some potential fiction writers go to non-fiction because well people like you say they never tell the truth about anything. Oh and have you heard the expression, "Truth is stranger than fiction?" Perhaps you should remember that.
