Help on rating .....

+ is to rate positive. - is to rate negatively. ! is to report the discussions. You can rate positively or negatively to whoever you choose, + if the poster helped you, - if they trolled or insult you.. etcetera. Everyone rates for different reasons so you just have to find your own =) Good luck and welcome to myLot!

There are 3 little squares to the right just below someone's post. A +, -, ! You use these squares to rate what people say or how they respond, I'm not sure what the ! is about though, I haven't really used the rating stuff that much. Sorry to hear about your accident, I hope things get better!
