Is this fair?

I was made redundant on the 12 of this month. I worked for a family run company and was basically the only non family member employed. I was with them for 9 months in total, they have given me an extra weeks wages and sent me on my way through no fault of my own. What is really griping at me though is that recently they branched out, we dealt with Right to Buiy mortgages, they have just branched into Estate Agency work and employed a third daughter for this about a month ago. I think it unfair that she was the last in, yet they have let me go. What are your opinions?
