For years i alway describe my life as a game of poker. God the card dealer and everyone else on the table my fellow human beings. I felt that somehow i am getting lousy cards and yet i know other are too and they have a better poker skill to play those cards well. Another group may ALWAYS get good cards. they don't struggle through life like the rest of us.
after years of feeling like i am trap in a game and just sucks at playing the hand i am dealt, i came a cross a book by Cherie Carter-Scott titled "If Life Is A Game, These Are The Rules".
Its an amazing revelation. very well written and really speak volumes to me about what i am going through. This is one of the books that actually change my life. The other is Anthony Robbins "Unlimited Power".
If you REALLY feel like you are trap in a game of life, please read the book. it is life changing. promise

Dam I never thought of life being like a game of poker. Dam you sure got a point when you say that, after I read the discussion you posted I sat back and thought about how life really is like a game. Well your suggestions on reading the books you listed was a good way to throw me off. I say this because how can I look a life different after comparing it to a poker game. Well I'll check at Borders and see if they carry the books you mention. good luck to ya
