I have met so many kids in our society today that are gay and scared out of their mind to tell their parents I'm not a parent,so I'm not even going to act like I know how it would feel like. But I think parents should be understanding when it comes to sexuality of their kids.

Oh, that's a hard question! It's so easy to sit here right now and say "I'd react this way" because you never know! You don't know how you would react to a certain thing until it actually happens.
Anyway, I don't think I would mind my son/sons being gay. I don't think it's such a big deal. I want my kids to grow up knowing that I will love them whatever happens. And being gay is not the end of the world. I want my kids to be happy, respect other people and not hurt anybody. So, as long as they are happy I'm happy.

my youngest brother is gay, and although my dad is the macho type, it was never a concern for him. my mom on the other hand, being catholic, thought she had done something wrong. but after a much heated discussion with the family, she finally realized that it was a choice that my brother made and he was ready to live with it. my brother "came out" before he went to college, and he announced it like it was nothing at all. i admire his courage as well as his deep understanding of himself. it takes a lot of courage to come right out and say it, but takes a lot more to admit you are gay.
