what game did you download? I guess you downloaded a free game from internet but, it would be a flash game or a game what needed to install in your disk drive so I can't be sure what do you need to know, but anyway if you download it from source force I would trust doesn't come with any kind of viruses, if you downloaded it from another web site you would get infected with a virus, so you will need to scan the game, and be sure it is clean of viruses, I hope you have not downloaded the game from a p2p software, because it always come with virus, it is sure you will find any game for free and don't pay copy rights but you will get a lot of spyware and aware. but if all is fine you can start to enjoy your game, I hope you have a lot of fun.

You can talk to the NPCs and pick up some quests or travel directly north, past the lodelight (resurrection point) and across the bridge and start killing Abiats, a one eyed bat-like creature.
