I am scared to death when the time comes that my daughter will want to go out by her self, she is only 4 at the moment so i know its going to be awhile. With all the evil in the world , the kidnappings the paedophiles, everything, it just scares me!!!!!!!! I never want it to come to that ! But i know it will. But what age is safe? When did you let your children walk around the streets by themselves or with friends. Im amazed to see what loooks like 6 year olds walking theselves to school. I believe that seems too young. But as soon as it occurs to her I know my daughter would love to go to the shops with her friends as soon as rthey start going? let me know?

generally, i am not on the basis of age but I am under the degree of responsibility wherein a child knows his worth and its consequences. so i will let her out at the age of reason.

exactly!! thank you!! but i still think it has to be over a certain age but when at that age she seems not to be responsible then I will keep moving the age back and back. haha thank you
