Is Mylot doing another clean up???

I logged on this morning to find that my earnings have been reduced. My star rating has gone down as has the number of discussions responded to.
I have looked and can't seee any discusions that I have responded to missing, but I guess there must be.
I understand mylots need to do this but it is still quite frustrating.
Anything like this happen to you guys?

Hello,mummyofthree,i have not noticed that honestly but may be myloy will do the cleanup bit by bit,i may have my earning decrease later if mylot is really doing clean up.
My star rating is still the same as yesterday,let see whether i will notice any changes later today.
But one thing i have noticed is that there are very few new discussions here today,may be most of the users have been away.

Yes I have noticed that too. I hope they are away. Alot of people seem to be losing faith in mylot at the moment. I hope the good users don't leave.

OMG!! I only know of one... probably a month or more ago. (starts with a W! Not sure if allowed to name him or not!).
But come to think of it, there are a few I haven't seen around in quite awhile.

No what you have mention in your thread is not happened in my case atleast today. It has happen to me once when I have not login to my Mylot account for 5 days due to Internet problem.
But till then and until today I have not seen such thing in my account.

Not today but my earnings have gone down just by a cent hear and there since June first I've lost 11 cents.

I don't bother checking nowadays. It is not worth wasting time on checking what pionts or earnings I have gained or lost. No one ever undersand how they calcualte things anyway.
As far as I know, I still have a star rating of ten.
I don't keep an accurate check of my earings. Overall, they have gone down, but this could be because I don't have time to do as many responses.

I don't go out of my way to check anymore. But today it was that obviouse I couldn't fail to miss it!

I haven't noticed any missing discussions or a decrease in the numbers next to my name; but I haven't been here nearly as long as some others.
I think if they are actually deducting earnings from people when they clean up old discussions that that is very, very wrong.
Here's your money...(time passes) mylot cleans up posts...takes your money away and puts in you a whole to dig out of. That's just wrong on so many levels.

I think it works along the theory of, choose good quality discussions and then you will not lose points as they will not be deleted! Which I thought I had been doing !!!

Yeah but, at some point discussions need to be deleted to make room. Both server room and room for similar discussions with new parties, and new events happening.
Money that has been paid out should not in effect be taken back months or years later. That is stealing.
If that were to happen to me I would probably leave and give myLot a lot of bad press for a being a scam site. I like myLot and I'm saying that.
That's like your boss paying you for making sign. A year later the sign is outdated so he throws it away. Would you stand by and let him take the money is paid you a year ago for making it?
I wouldn't either, that is immoral, if not illegal.

i think you are right, mylot indeed do appear to be cleaning up the site again. Over the last 3 days have been very low and i guess this is a sign things are being chopped about again

I am not sure what they are doing, but my star went to a 9. I very seldom check the discussions I responded to. I am sure they needed to clear up some space, but that shouldn't affect our ratings and earnings. Only they will know...
