Well for someone like myself - coffee doesn't keep you awake - i drink a LOT of coffee a day, way too much i'm sure but it's something that i enjoy & with the weather here being so cold, it goes down really well.
I have to admit though, coffee has never kept me awake, no matter how much or how little i drink, i never seem to be awake any longer than usual.
Maybe it just has a different effect on some people!
So yeah, i always have a cup of coffee in my hand on on the table beside me, i probably should cut back a bit.

I always drink coffee in the morning. It helps to awaken me up if I'm still a little bit sleepy. Coffee is a stimulant. I also sometimes drink coffee in the afternoon snack or late at night if its raining hard and I'm feeling cold...just to warm me up. But I can't sleep easily at night when i take coffee in the afternoon or evening.

I discovered Hibiscus tea while traveling in Greece and Egypt. In these countries shop owners are very likely to set before you a welcome glass of Tea. I drink all types of Tea.Twinnings, Darjeeling,Black Chinese Tea with the Brand name of "Gunpowder" This tea is very strong. At night, before bed, I drink Cammomile, for its soothing effect and in the afternoon, I like the red tea which is made from Hibiscus flowers. I drink this red tea in a glass so that I not only enjoy it's flavor and its deep red color also.
