Bathing Soap - Do you change the brand frequently?

I buy a new brand of bathing soap every time i go for buying one. I would say, I do not have brand loyalty for bathing soaps.
I try avoiding re-using the same bathing soap continuously, though I might buy the same brand of soap after 4-5 months.
What is your behaviour regarding a bath soap? Do you keep a same brand of bath soap or you change it frequently.

We don't really fuss over this issue.
We have our favorites, yes, and we do buy them. However, we like to try out new things from time to time too. Life is too boring if we don't try to spice it up. :P

I'm just the opposite of you - I tend to stick with pretty much the same bath soap. Over the years I've found a brand that I love and although I will occasionally purchase something else on sale I always end up going back to my old brand.

i appreciate the kind of brand loyalty shown by you....
i change the soaps frequently only because i get bored off a single perfume and then i have not yet faced any skin allergy by doing so.
thanks for the response.

I am very particular with the kind of soap I'm using. I was born with a lot of allergies and any ordinary soaps are not good for my skin.
I love organic soap and soap with eseential oil. It is safer, earth friendly and complimented my sensitivie skin.

I use shower gels and that is often by choice if I wish to smell of fruit or other some such thing. I can shower to fit my mood and also by what I wish to wear. Layering my body washed smell with perumes can be good for longer lasting aromas throughout the day. So I have a few that I choose amongst.

I only have one brand of soap using and i dont change it, also with my son i am using one kind of brand for him because he has a sensitive skin and his pedia recommended that soap for my son to avoid it from skin irritation. Maybe using one brand of product doesnt mean of loyalty its just that i found comfort in that product.

thats true. if one can find that the particular soap suits more than any other soap then it is prudent to continue with it.
thanks for the response.

well i used to change it up alot too when the new shower gel craze started with the loofa sponges. I was always searching for something that smelled great. But then i grew out of it and went back to the family soap LOL Dove i was raisd on it so to speak my mother never used anything but dove and i dont think i will ever again i love the way it makes my skin feel. So no i do not buy different brands when i run out.

Unfortunately my skin doesn't like most soaps on the market. I only buy one brand - it's the only one that I don't seem to have extra dry skin or any other reactions to. I've tried several varieties but I've always had to go back to the brand I stick with now. I don't try anymore since this one cleans well and my skin likes it too.

Pablo I can only use Dove. I've tried ivory, caress, the ones that are supposed to be all natural, irish spring, etc. I should add that part of it is I do have an allergy to many scents - can't wear perfumes and can't date a man who wears cologne either - I break out in hives even on an elevator with someone who's bathed in the stuff. I have to even be selective around candles. At the office I used to work at someone 3 offices down from me was burning a candle that gave me a headache. I had to spray my office with lysol and keep the door shut whenever she would light it.

I do try to keep using the same brand of bath soap I use each time I buy. I have a very sensitive skin I was a kid that's why I'm also particular in buying the right soap for me. As of now, I use a liquid baby milk bath because I never have allergies when I use it. Whenever there's no stock in the grocery, a buy another kind which is the same brand but also liquid baby bath.

thats true...
if we have allergies, then we must stick to one soap that is suitable for our skin.

thats true.
soaps with less or no chemicals are gentle on skin and should be preferred over other kinds of soaps having artificial chemicals.

I do change the brand most ofthe times. Its not because I want to change it but I have to.I stay in college hostel adn it has a store from where we buy all the stationary items necessary for the day to day activities. They wont be having the same brand of soaps when they open next time.So I have to buy some other brand.Parents pay only once in a month for hostel bill and thus cant keep on going out and buy them.

so it is more out of compulsion that you are required to buy different soaps.
i can understand the hostel life very well as even i had been through once.

I have to say I stick to the same one, I don't know that it is anything to do with brand loyalty, just the fact that it is one that suits my needs. It has a very mild scent, and the bar seems to last long enough and doesn't go soft or squashy. I like to get clean, without too much scent left on my skin.

i only use liquid soaps,i don't know why but i have weird phobia to bar soap,i don't like them stick to wedding ring, into my nail or even touch them, lol.my fav is vanilla flavour but i like to use different flavour, so i always have vanilla one plus the others.i don't have fav brands but with vanilla i always use l'occitaine.
