Do you think global warming is real?

We hear so much lately about global warming and the planet. Movies are made about it, celebrities talk about the cause, books are written, the government denies it's a real threat. Do you think the planet is in danger? What do you think life will be like in 50 years? The same or will the glaciers have melted and polar bears and honey bees be extinct?

I don't buy into the media hype about global warming. The planet regularly goes though warming and cooling periods; however, I won't say that we aren't doing some terrible things to the environment and we should be better caretakers of the environment. The best thing is moderation and common sense. The nature does a pretty good job at species extinction. If it came to the loss of the polar bear, life would go on; however, if the honeybee were to go extinct, the whole human race and most plants would be in jeopardy.

I read that the honey bees are dying because of all the cell phones. Both operate on the same frequency, and the bees get confused and can't find their way back to the hive. It could happen.

Probably has to do with the fact that now almost everyone seems to have a cell phone. A few years ago it was just businesses and now teenagers have them too. I've seem kids in grade school with cell phones. Maybe it has to do with the ever increasing amount of cells.

Interesting suggestion. But why now? Wouldn't there have been an increase in the demise of the hives well before this? Maybe this is a contributing factor.

Yes, global warming is real and it is becoming worse and worse. he climate changes and it is not really good. Because many species die and never appear again. There are many places that will become a desert and other places that will become a jungle. The level of the sea is getting higher and higher and it means that many lands will be under the sea level very soon. Yes, the planet is in danger and we should look forward in changing our way of life. I don't want to imagine life after 50 years because it makes me afraid.
