although both are bad, but hurt emotionally is much more difficult to bear then hurt physically. It takes much time in recovering from emotional case. Don't you think soo?

any abuse is bad but emotional is harder to get over. if you are physically hurt, the wounds do heal but if it is physical abuse, it does affect a person emotionally too.
i wouldnt even contemplate saying which would be easier to deal with because i know what both are like...
if its a one off fight though with say a stranger or something, physical is definately easier to deal with but if its physical abuse...then it turns emotional anyway...

although both are bad but i think physical hurt is better than emotional hurt as it heals much faster and leaves behind less scars.

Getting hurt emotionally is way worse then physically. Look at it this way...Physically only hurts a couple hours maybe a few days...Emotionally, sticks with you forever. I had it both ways and both are bad. I don't wish it on anyone. But if I had to endure it again, I would take physical over emotional any day. For any victims out there, please check out this website www.ndvh.org/, you'll get through..just get help! Best wishes.

physical injuries only hurt for the time it happens and the time you're healing. emotional ones can last your entire lifetime, so i guess it depends on the severity... i would have to say, a physical injury that will cause you pain for the rest of your life has got to be the worst kind you can get. normally though, condense a year of emotional pain into a week of physical healing, it probably balances out.

Both are equally painful. I have been a victim of emotional abuse all my life. First by my father and then by an exboyfriend. I finally realized one day that I deserve better. Words can be just as painful as a fist. I am happy to report that I have a wonderful man in my life who only used kind words toward me.

No doubt both is pretty bad, I mean I think pain is pretty bad in general.
If I had to pick, though, I'd probably go with emotional, because there's no anesthesia for that kind of pain. Codine won't get you anywhere from a heartache.

Both are bad but emotional hurt is harder to see and to help.
