Shih Tzu's are soooooo cute with a regal bearing and
"attacks" strangers who he/she thinks are a "security risk" to his/her master the least one expect. My Shih
Tzu after seizing up a strange guest in the house, bit
him when his back was turn and back of his thighs! Their
bite is harmless because they have very tiny teeth. Other
guests don't get same reception.

I would highly recommend a tze tsui. It is medium size. very sweet and very protective. Dog will not allow strangers to go near you. Great jogging dog and companion and "security guard". Hope you find the right one.

Get a lovely dog from the pound, save a life. Try for a large one. They can keep up with your jogging and be protective.
