from which do you think is more convinience to send sms through mobile?

I used to send sms to my sisters mobile but someone told me its better for me to used my internet connection to send sms to other mobile since i was always using my pc....
Any one could tell me the best thing is...

sending sms through mobile is the best.in mobile also all mobile could match for regularly or fast typing messaging.only selective mobile can used to type in faster mode,the mobile which can send faster sms r like nokia 3310,nokia 1100.r such mobile which is fully made for sms sending purpose.............

The best still would be through your mobile phones but if you want to text for free, use the internet. But if you are always in unlimited service, you should probably use it especially when you have the same network. If not, then I prefer using Chikka for the Filipino texters. It's free and almost every techie Filipino uses it.
