ok so i got a kitten last year. we thought she was a he. like.. 7 months ago we found out that it was a she. well my mom told me she was going to get her fixed.. and she hasn't yet. we didn't let her go outside, but she just kept running to the door every time, so we gave up. then she went into heat.. so like a month on and off.. during that time we wouldn't let her out. like.. a month later she went into heat again, this time she got out a few times, and we couldn't get her back in. well im almost positive that a male cat got to her, i saw the cat. my sister said she saw him on top of her. well im a little afraid that shes pregnant, but my bigger concerned about it is that shes little and young, just barley a year old. how can i tell if she is pregnant, and what should i do if she is? how long are cat pregnancy's? i heard they are like 30 days.. but that seems a little short. i need to look it up online, but i want to know peoples experences with it we had one cat that came to us pregnant, she was young.. and i like WAY overdue to have her kittens. i think she was to young to have them. she didn't take care of them, feed them. she just kept walking away to try to get affection from us.

I hope that she isnt because of her age. Cats are pregnant for about 63-65 days (9 weeks), by about week 3-4 you should notice her nipples going red and slightly enlarging. At about 5-6 you will start to notice that she will be putting on weight. Yet if she does start 'calling' again you know that she is not. Hope this helps.

It is really hard to tell if a cat is pregnant especially early on in the pregnancy. you really have 2 choices to make you can wait it out and see if she gets fatter in the belly or you cantake her to a vet and have them check for you. Your best bet is take her to a vet and have her checked and if she is not your best bet is to get her fixed then you dont have to worry about it.

If you go to the vet, all your answers will be answered correctly. Sounds like she is pregnant. Poor thing. Good luck.
