I bet I am not the only one. You get a new washer and dryer, dishwasher, fridge, stove, or COMPUTER, and for some time, you are on top of the world. I have watched clothes agitating in a new washer tub and been fascinated. Well, it's finally happened... I got around to buying myself a new puter. 225gb of hard drive space. LOL. I remember being thrilled when I got a P4 with 2mb. It's too funny. I'm so happy. Just like a kid at Christmas, I just want to sit here and play with my new computer for hours.

Hey, you had an early Christmas, kbkbooks! It's always exciting to have new things. Just don't forget to stand up once in a while so you won't get a backache. LOL

Because of my arthrosis, I have a backache 24/7. Actually I have a really good chair that helps me remain somewhat comfortable. I have to get up occasionally as nature calls, etc. But I know what you mean, I do need to get up and stretch from time to time, and also rest my eyes.

That's right. I sometimes have a hard time leaving the computer especially if I'm doing something particularly interesting.

I have it passworded so no one can get into it but ME ME ME. That means my kids can't load horse apples onto it without my permission. I just love that.

I get a thrill every time it rains as it gives me a chance to use my dryer. I've had it for 2 years now and the thrill hasn't worn off yet. Ummmm maybe that should be a laziness thrill lol. Yes I agree with you I love getting new stuff too. When you update your computer you sit and think wow this is fast, look how much quicker the pages load ect. Have fun with your computer, you've done well.

My husband never had a dryer till I moved in with him. He's the same as you, but I don't call it laziness, just convenience.

Someday I am going to own a ceramic top stove. Are your pots and pans ok or did you have to get new ones?
