A mastiff is the best dog out there

I had a mastiff and her name was elijah and she was the best dog out there. Unfortunately we had to put her down years ago because she had a tumor. How does everyone else feel about mastiffs?

The mastiff along with the siberian husky are my dream dogs!!
Mastiff's are said to be brave, loyal, comparatively safe for children.
are any of the hypes true?
