You can't put Ranch dressing on that!

Last week we had pizza, and I made the mistake of getting jalapeno topping. On the same day, I ran out of milk and ended up with a burning mouth. Here's a tip for anyone that hasn't tried this yet. Water does not soothe a burning mouth! So, I used Ranch dressing as a dipping sauce for the pizza and it took the burning away. Just wanted to pass that tip along. What's your favorite, yet unusual pizza topping or pizza dip sauce? Please share.

Yes ranch is perfect for that! I've eaten it on pizza for years! It's also fantastic on baked potato's, steak, quesedillas, tacos, pasta... The list can go on and on!

I also like to use Ranch dressing to dip my pizza into. I cant take spicy things due to severe heartburn so the ranch also helps later when the pizza sauce wants to act up LOL. This may sound a little weird but before i got heartburn bad i used to dip pizza in pizza sauce.LOL

Ranch is good on almost everything. When I was in jr high, I think there were only like three school lunches that I ate, that I didn't put ranch dressing on. lol I still do it on some things, but not nearly as many. My 16 month old will eat it on anything he can, though. He says "Wans pwease!" for about half of his food. The other day he wanted it on his oatmeal! (we said no to that one, though). We usually make our own pizza at my house. We do just mushrooms a lot of times, or chicken and mushrooms. We tend to avoid the fattier meats for the most part when it comes to pizza. We let the baby dip his in ranch and/or pizza sauce. My husband doesn't like pizza sauce as much as the baby and I do, so if we are all three sharing a pizza instead of doing personal ones, I usually dip my pizza in leftover pizza sauce, too.

since i absolutly love jalapenos and banana peppers on my pizza, i ALWAYS have ranch sauce ready and waiting lol! its surprisingly good together, and definatly helps soothe a mouth on fire! clears your sinus's though doesnt it?! lol when i do have pizza without the peppers i usually like to dip the crust in that garlic butter or marina sauce dips that sometimes come with the pizza.
