Hi everyone, Wow has it been a while since i've had the time to participate here, but I'm back. I do have a question for all of you though, My husband brings a lunch to work every day now, he doesn't have the ability to go out and grab something anymore because of where he works and such, it's just too far away in such a short lunch break to run to the nearest store and grab something. But, he gets tired of things easily, he's not one for sandwiches, and doesn't like the same old thing all the time. I've started making him little things here and there that i make sometimes for lunch and dinner, but there's only so long you can take something before you get tired of it. So if you have any ideas of cool lunch ideas that will help take the boredom of eating out of his day for him, I'd be glad to hear each and every one of them. I do home made soups and mash together some things to make kind of a goulash, fruit salads and such, but i need something more, and something interesting. Keep in mind, in the way of eating, my hubby is NOT at all like me, he can't eat anything spicy, as it hurts his poor tummy. thanks in advance everyone.

Instead of making regular sandwiches try making him "Wraps" with turkey or his favorite lunch meat and some veggies, you can even make some dipping sauce if he likes blue cheese which can easily be stored in a zip lock baggie. If you go out for chinese food wash and save the containers and re use them to put left overs in for his lunch. and for desert add a little note telling him your proud of him and love him...thats better then anything he could ever eat

Would he eat chicken salad on a lettuce bed with melon chunks on the side? It is pretty good, we have that for lunch occasionally, with cornbread or blueberry muffins on the side. Does your hubs have access to a microwave at work? If so, that leaves open all sorts of ideas...

My ex-husband used to love to eat meatloaf sandwiches, they were not spicy and you would put some mayo on the bread heat up the meatloaf (if a microwave is available) and wa la you have lunch, if you need a recipe hit me back and I will dig mine up for you!
