I always feel pressured to come up with new topics. I almost always feel like we are going to run out of things to discuss. As far as the news, there will always be something, but things in the news are always going to be covered by at least 20 people. But, from their own personal perspective.
I know that there have been several times that I have come up with topics and searched to see if they have been used, only to find out after I have posted it, that it has indeed been used already. Does this ever happen to you? Do you fear that we will eventually run out of unique experiencing to talk about?

i noticed that the more i try to find a nice topic for mylot, i can't seem to find any. but if i'm thinking about random things or have a chat with my friends, i find the most strange topics. out of nowhere. they don't all get to mylot, but they will... slowly :)

I think there are so many creative minds on here there will always be topics to discuss but I'm no closer to being one of those creative minds than ever. I'm usually on here at the end of my day and already tired. I don't feel clever or creative in the topics I post, especially when tired.

Does it matter if someone else has talked about it before or not. The audiance at mylot is ever changing it changes from day to day and minute to minute. I usually cannot think of thinks to start a discussion on so I respond to others discussions. I may not come up with the idea but I have something to say about it. I feel it is good enough for me.
I can understand how someone who likes to come up with ideas will find it discouraging when they read someone else has already started that discussion. But my advise to you and them is, the audiance changes from minute to minute so chances are the same person will not read the other persons discussion.

I like to respond as much as I like to start a topic. It is a lot easier to respond than to think up topics and that is why I push myself to start new topics. It helps to keep the flow going.
If everyone only responded there would be trouble. There are many times when I am responding and will pull a whole other idea from that. I am a writer, so I love to be inspired.

It's really to come up with topics that no one hasn't posted yet. It happend to me a couple of times before but I feel good because still, some of our friends here in mylot still repond tomy discussions. I think the key is to make as it interesting as possible. We may have experienced the same things that we post here but its not exactly the same as to how it was experienced. Its fun to make posts here and I think most of us will welcome what anybody would want to share here at mylot.

Well u came up with a very good topic here anyway. But ya u really need to be very creative and innovative..in mylot. With almost a 100,000 members its likely to have all the common topics discussed more than 5 times in mylot. But if we scratch our brains a little i'm sure we can find many interesting topics to discuss on ;)

i run out of topics about once or twice a week, but thankfully my interest and motivation seems to come back if i have a rest. What I have found is that i post a lot about changes in my life and things that have happened to me. With this in mind, I dont think ill ever totally run out of topics, but am i motivated enough to keep on posting? now that is a whole new question.
Blessed be.

Well, the topics are just some common landmarks. You are free to improvise and to go out of them. And to put your own tags. But if you put too individual taggs of your discussions, just some people will find them.
And the common conversation is allways more popular then the individual one.

lol no there will be no shortage of topics ever. It is possible that many discussions could get repeated, but who actually would read through every discussion ever posted here on myLot anyway? When people see the new material they jump on it and post away. Even if the orginal topic was the same, the end result of the discussion could end being completly different.
If there was a shortage of topics, it would be like saying people can't think anymore or have a shortage of thoughts.

Does it matter if others have started discussion on similar topics ? Every one's perception and questions differ, so do the answers, so they are still unique in a way. I am sure we will never run out of topics because new issues keep coming up every day, so do new problems.

I think that we will never run out of topics to discuss for the simple reason that the world is such a vast place and filled with so many people, things are constantly "happening." As such, it would seem unlikely that we woul dever run out of things to discuss. Don't you agree?

I don't think we can ever run out of topics to discuss here on MyLot.
There are subjects that are only unique to the individual poster.
And you can even discuss a post that have been posted earlier if you put your own personal spin on it.
For example you can still post about Paris Hilton being in jail. Here is a example.
"Is Nancy Grace going overboard with her coverage of the Paris Hilton case?"
I think Nancy Grace is using the Paris Hilton case to boost her ratings on CNN. She's acting like what's happening to Paris Hilton's release from jail is the equivalent of releasing a convicted murderer.
Hope this helps.

Sorry about the double post. I left to get my baby back ribs out of the oven and make my potato salad and forgot that I made a previous post.
The food is driving me crazy. lol

You hit the week spot. I have a hard time thinking up a discussion because I think everything has been said already. Science and philosophy doesn`t get much answers. Cocke or Pepsi we had already twenty times.
If mylot ever runs up a problem it will be because everything has been said.

I don't think we will run out of topics. There are some topics that has not been active in the past few months. MyLot should have deleted those topics. Creative minds are joining MyLot everyday. I'm sure they will be able to start some sensible topics.

Sometimes i also feels like this way that we are running out of topics but that's not true people are still posting and making money post discussions and for responding so they are increasing there star ranking ........now we should stick to few topics in a day and should respond more then write something to come up with new ideas and subjects belieive me this is a great way to recall your mind on mylot otherwise you will quite this site soon .................
