Has anyone ever been to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!

I've been looking at old pictures we took from our vacation to Mexico in 2000. I'd really like to take another vacation there soon. Well, not REAL soon, as it would be too hot and humid there right now. We went in January and I think that was perfect.
They had a hurricane there a few years a go and have since rebuilt. I wonder what it's like now.
What sorts of activities did you do while down there? We went horseback riding, whale watching, and a walk through the Sierra Madras and then back to the beach for a bar-be-que.
Did you love it there?

One of my customers just returned from their Honeymoon last week and seemed to have really enjoyed it.
