yes i think so, TV is addictive because the more you watch it, the more you start liking about it, and unknowinly you spend hours watching TV. We tend to watch it more and more, its hard to switch off the TV, just like its hard to quit smoking. Thats why i think watching TV is an addiction... what you think about this?

I have a different opinion. I think it will depend on what channels you are watching. But I don't feel TV is addictive. I am more addictive on the Internet because I can do whatever I want. If all channels in TV are boring, we can't do about it. Internet is different, you can control what you would like to read and watch.

that depends. It doesn't really apply to everyone. I like watching tv but i'm not addicted to it. But I guess you can call someone who puts off their work just to watch tv addicted to it. Or the type who just can't get off the tv...you get the point. ^__^

yeh i got the point, but there are some who just dont realise how much time they are spending in watching TV, if there is some thing preplanned then its ok, but most of times we just keep around wondering thriough channel;s and at the end of some hours we realise that we never were stabl;e in watching anything worthy and we kept on changing channels only!
