Ever feel hopeless?

Do you ever feel like things have gotten so bad that you just don't know if things are going to be able to improve? I feel like I've been in a deep whole for a while, and I just don't know how to get myself out. Does anyone think they know how I feel or have any suggestions?

I am pretty sure I can relate to how you feel. I had a life-shattering event happen that blew my mind so bad I have forgotten many things. I ended up on anti-depressants and something for panic attacks. You might see your doctor. If it is depression there are meds that can help. I know you can't see the end from the hole right now. I'm not sure what is up. After seeing a doctor I would take a step back and look at the whole thing new. See what you can do/change to improve things. I hope this helps!

Thanks, I've been on anti-depressants before and they don't really seem to help, plus I don't really want to be popping pills for the rest of my life, but I need to do something. Thanks for your response.

There are many anti-depressants out there. If one didn't work, try another. There's nothing saying you would have to take them forever. I no longer need to take any of those meds now. Or have you thought of counselling? Maybe talking to someone on the outside would help and give you a new perspective on things.

You could be thinking a lot of things that it made you so empty in a while. I also have the same feeling and it's so hard to cope with it.
