well today we finally did it!
my little corner of Arizona actually hit 111 degrees F. today! woowee it was hot! luckily the a/c is working just fine. but it did have to work its butt off all day just to maintain a temperature of 81F in the house!
unfortunatly i had to go to the store a little after 7pm and it was still sweltering outside..around 100F still and NO a/c in the car!! which is a nightmare sometimes!
how was your weather today? expecting to reach record high temps for summer this year in your area?

That's incredible! Well, at least it's a dry heat, as they say.
Here's it's around 90 degrees with humidity, at a certain point, sweat doesn't evaporate.

Today is the first day that it's been somewhat hot. The past few days have been pretty cool with almost no humidity. I know that we are going to end up paying for those nice day though, every time we have three or four days of nice weather we end up with a huge storm or heat and humidty out the wazoo.

It was 95 today here in Ogden, it was quite nice, no humidity, I think.
I am from the valley (phoenix) though, this time last year, it had already hit 120, and I had my power turned off two weeks prematurely.Luckily, I lived in a complexwith a huge swimming pool, that also had a recarea. It was hard to sleep before 12 am though, it was so hot! and, since heat rises, being on the third floor made it like an oven inside. Glad that is over!
to celebrate, I have my air at 78 degrees now. It is very nice, and a bit too cold, but the complex pays for it. ( I can't believe I am complaining about cold air?)
that's ok though. I gloat now, will cry this winter when it snows, and is freezing outside. (ha ha!)
