I don't know the exact name of the sandwiches and I guess there is really no specific name for it because every time I go into a different store, they have different names. Recently I tried having a filling with turkey, lettuce and mango with the wheat break, that tastes really good! At first I was wondering if the mango would do well with the bread but I was wrong, it was refreshing! Another thing I love would be egg salad filling in wheat bread. I think sandwiches make me feel very healthy in some ways, but I don't get to eat them often because I find them not very sustainable in my stomach, I would get hungry after around 2 hours, it's not good for me when I work!

They use "sweeter" mangos to go with the turkey and it's really good, you can try some time just to experience. I usually don't like to mix fruits and my "meals" together but it tastes wonderful. OH my god! Food poisoning? You really need to be careful then.
I think sandwiches for me are good as snacks but not great as meals, like you said, I would eat more for dinner!

Well, if cranberry sauce goes so well with roast turkey.. then why not mangoes, right? ;) Definitely something to try!! Nowadays, I'm really careful WHERE i buy my sandwiches. I won't simply buy sandwiches from gas stations or anything like that. I'm not saying that it's bad.. I'm just not sure how "fresh" it is.

With mango? Really?? Hmm.. that's something to try! Did they use ripe mango or the sour types, like pickles? I would really like to try that someday. I've sort of sworn off egg sandwiches because I experienced one hell of a BAD food poisoning after eating one at college a few years back. That left me feeling pretty traumatised. lol!
I once tried having sandwiches for lunch (in an attempt to eat healthily) but ended up eating more during dinner. Especially the wholemeal/wheat breads. I think white bread can sustain you longer. But I don't really know.. that's just what i think. Thanks for sharing!!

Salad and Nutella sandwiches- not together though, because that would just be weird.
If I feel feisty (as one does), then I add banana and biscuit to the Nutella.

I'm a white bread gal- never got into wholemeal. If I did choose to eat healthier, I'd use Poppy and Linseed bread.

I LOVE MAYO!! lol.. Anything with mayo on it does it for me. I can even eat it with bread alone. Haha. Also, those chicken toast sandwiches are pretty good too. Turkey sandwich with croissannts.. yum! Seafood sandwich at Delifrance! Yum-O! But i've never really been a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches. As you said, to each their own!

I lurve my fat deli sannies! The best I've ever had was at San Francisco at this corner blue shop called AK Subs. Yummy yum yum! It was a mix of turkey, avacado, mushroom, sprouts, peppers and all sorta things. It was heavenly!
I have this habit of making sannies out of left over dinners too. hehe Stack em all up and if the mix is rite it really makes a delish lunch!
I think the type of bread you use makes a hella difference too. No white for me please!

Really?? Your least fave? Well, mom did take the mango but it's too sweet.. You know us.. We don't really take anything super sweet.. We don't even put sugar in our tea.. Anyways, one more papaya pineapple jam please.. And there are more orders for other stuff too. Just can't seem to get through to your phone.. *sigh*

Wow.. that Tuna sandwich looks sooo good! Oh yum! I love my tuna sandwich with tomatoes and lettuce too. i could do without the cucumber, though. Not that i don't like it. But i can't have cucumber and tomatoes in the same sandwich. I guess i'm just weird that way. :) Thanks for sharing.

MMM... sounds good. I don't know why, I've never tried tuna AND cheese. It's usually one or the other. Thanks for sharing! :) This whole discussion is really making me hungry but it gives me whole new ideas for sandwiches! Something to try and look forward to in the future.

hey i love sadwiches for breakfast and for meals when im busy. i love ham and cheese sandwiches, sometimes i just get them from 7/11 stores or if i have time, i make tuna sandwich filling or roast chicken sandwich with lettuce... i dont like tomatoes or pickes, lettuce is enough vegetable on my sandwich. sometimes i also make spam sandwich and if im really tired or lazy, cheese spreads, nutella, and peanut butter also works!

I love the Quizno's sandwiches that we have locally. But, if you are talking about home-made sandwiches, then I'd have to say BBQ pork sandwiches topped with fried onion rings! I just love those and it's my own creation. Most of my friends think I'm asking for a heart attack every time I eat that sandwich, but they're just jealous I won't share my secret recipe. Now you know!
