I buy entirely too many things off of ebay! But I love looking through there and findig some cool things. You can find just about anything there!
The last item I bought was a Power Rangers Gameboy game for my son. He wanted one for his birthday and we couldn't find one anywhere here in the stores.
The last item I searched for, but did not buy was a set of Hamm's beer mugs. My husband and I bought a couple at a garage sale for 25 cents and found someone selling one of them on ebay for $18!

What I do when I go to ebay is type in wholesale, sometimes it brings you ebooks which isn't what you want to by but i go for jewelry I just purchased a watch for 1 penny and 9.85 s&h, not even 10 bucks and it looks like it would be way over 60.00 for the watch so you need to shop around, many people charge high shipping fees because ebay doesn't subtract a fee on shipping charges

The last item I bought was the first season of Family Guy, since my copy strangely went missing right after I kicked my roommate out.
The last item I searched for was tanning lotion for tanning beds, there were a lot of really great deals on it. The stuff I would buy in the salon for $80 was only like $10 plus shipping (around $18 they had it listed, I think they make a profit on that, too!), but I stopped bidding on those when I realized I had a better use for my Paypal funds -- my mom's birthday in 2 weeks!

Ebay is just such a wonderful place isn't it! What would we do without it, apart from get withdrawal symptoms! I always buy my music and dvds off Ebay because I save a fortune compared to shopping in the high Street. I love the 80s music and I am always searching for real old cds which you couldn't get in the shops. I buy my presents for people on Ebay too and have saved a small fortune since I joined and never looked back!

The last item I bought on ebay was a grill cover for hubby. The kids wanted to know what he wanted for Father's Day and I knew he had been looking at a grill cover that carried the name of his favorite college basketball team: Duke Bluedevils! So I ordered it off ebay and the kids all paid me! We gave it to him today and he was ecstatic! Thank goodness I ordered it MUCH in advance as the seller was terribly slow in sending the item. ( I even had to get his user info from ebay and call and threaten him!) I see now that he got 3 negative feedbacks in the past 2 weeks...all for slow shipping! This was actually my first 'bad' experience on ebay...so I can't complain. I have been selling/buying on ebay since its inception!

Yes, it is frustrating when you are waiting for an item for a particular reason and the seller is slow! A month ago I ordered a cute yellow purse I wanted for the summer. And it still has not arrived! I did get an email from the seller that she was in the hospital and it would be mailed soon, but that was almost 2 weeks ago and no email or package since.

Last year I bought majority of my gifts on EBAY. And some from the same seller (which saved on shipping). If there was something in the store that I thought someone would like, I would find it on Ebay and 7 out of 10 times it was cheaper with EBAY. Amazing huh?

I bought some garden flags for under $6.00 each which included the shipping. I saw some of the same flags at Lowes for $18.00 to 22.00.

Hi.. I think the last thing I bought on ebay was a generator to charge the batteries down at my caravan! It cost me about $100.
I have been selling some bits on ebay, zippo lighters and books. Not doing too badly, though it has gone a bit quiet. Have just put some more stuff on there this morning so hopefully will sell them before the week is out! :0)

I sell more than I buy. I have a store, but I'm new and not sure if linking it is considered spam, but there is a link in my profile if you want to take a look. It is loads of fun.. both buying and selling!

I just bought a couple of samurai swords for my hubby. Got them from auctionbasement ebay shop pretty cheap. Postage was the dearest thing actually! I am always looking on there for swords as my hubby likes to collect them, and with the auctionbasement shop the bidding starts at 99 cents which is pretty good. I ended up paying 2.75 for one of the last swords!

the last item i bidded for (and won) was yesterday when i got myself (royal mail willing) a beautiful speenhamland token from 1811. I was the only bidder and got it for the minimum 99p. Well I like it anyway.
I also bought myself 5 bullet shells from 1918 which are now proudly on my display case

The last thing I bought was a pair of micro SD cards for mine and my BF's phones. They have a music player on them, now we can store 80-100 songs instead of 10 like on the card that came with the phone.

I enjoy selling and buying on ebay. It is kind of funny sometimes to see how much people are charging for items. An item that I have been looking for lately is a Handheld PDA system to use for work as well as for reading emails and using as a GPS system. Those type of auctions are hard to win unless you are looking to spend about the same amount of money as you would spend driving to the local techno store. As a seller, I attempt to be as honest and as fair as possible. So far, I have had great responses from my buyers. I think the best thing to do, as it appears you are doing, is to research as much as possible and then make your decision about buying something at ebay.
Happy ebaying!
