Can we stop wars?

Men have always been fighting. With the end of world war II, we thought it was to be peace everywhere. But we never learn. We make bombs, weapons, foment trouble in other countries to sell the weapons and create wars. The question is how can we stop all this? Would'nt it be wonderful if we had a world free of wars? This would eradicate the untold sufferings of people, mostly women and children. Any solution?

Religion makes people fight and the solution to world peace is unity especially in religion.
