Dads

First I'd like to wish all how are one a very happy father's day. Now for the rest of us what are you doing special for your dad today?
Unfortunately my dad passed away 6 years ago so though he's in my thoughts I can not be with him today but I can rememeber him and say a prayer for him. If he were here I'd probably be visiting with him and spending the day. What about you and yours?

I drove 100 miles to go see my dad today. We took our dog and she is not allowed in his house. I figured we would be outside eating. But they didn't because it was so hot. Well I did not realize how hot it was going to be today. My dad was out grilling hamburgers and hot dogs and he was just a sweating. We stayed for about 1-2 hours and came home. On the way home we saw a sign at a bank and the tempature was 98 degrees.
Needless to say we are home and in the air conditioner. We have a pool but it is just to hot to even be out there.

Very nice of you to do so MJLami :)
I got my dad a card, he's not much up for presents and moans like hell if bought something so pretty much nothing. (although that's the way he likes it)
My son did the same (with the help of my wife) I think they're also up to something else but I don't mind as much :)

My dad passed away in '93.Which is I guess 14 years ago at this point,wow.So, I hope all the father's out there have a great day as well.Take care and enjoy your children!:)
