Have you or will you go to your high school class reunion?

How many of you actually want to go to your class reunion? My ten year class reunion is coming up next month and I'm not sure if I'll be attending. I was never really close with too many people in school so why should I go to see the people who made fun of me. Maybe just to show off what I've accomplished since high school. But when you really think about it who really cares about where you are in life right now? What do you think?

I considered it, if only to see who was still attatched to the apron strings. You have to understand, I went to a high school where most of the students got brand new cars for their 17th birthdays, complete with insurance and gas cards that they never saw the bill for. I got my used car which cost $300 for graduation, and wasn't allowed to drive it until I could pay for insurance. The gas was paid for with cash. My cash. If I didn't have money for gas, I couldn't go anywhere. These kids were so spoiled that after rushing off to the colleges of their choice, most of them were back home working at fast food places within 2 semesters, having flunked out of college.
In the end, I decided it really wasn't worth my time. The few people from my graduating class that I actually liked weren't the type of people who would actually show up at the class reunion.

I agree with you on that. I think that a class reunion is just a big show off and pretend party. Those that were successful want to show off what they have and those that don't have just want to pretend that they do. I'm definitely not going to mine. I made that decision once I saw the names of the classmates who were over the reunion. They were the ones who walked around with their noses tooted up to everyone else. I know that the few people I hung out with will not be going. It's not like I'll be missing anything. I'm just going to save my $50.00 for something worth the money.

I went to my class reunion...
Actually it was really interesting...
I re acquainted with friends and classmates and now communicate with some of them regularly through the net...
It really depends on you...but I'd think you'd be missing on somethings..

Nah, I could almost say that I don't even went to high school. hehe. I've got more absent days than of my present. I barely know my classmates. I don't even know why I graduated. haha! Though everyone said. "High school life is the best." I couldn't really relate with it. :) So I'll just pass with that since I don't even know a lot of people back then. hehe.
