What did you do in Fathers Day??

Many of us forget the real reason why we celebrate once a year the Fathers Day.. Its to give thanks to our FATHER for always being there.. So what did you do this fathers day??

me and my wife sent cards weeks before the Father's day to our in-laws, cause there are thousands of miles away from us!

First, Welcome to mylot!!
Ok well my husband and me look at both Father's day and Mother's day a bit different. Mother's day is to give thanks for Mom's not killing the kids and Father's day is to give thanks for him not loosing them, LOL We have a warped since of humor. Anyway, we usually do the same for both days. The kids will make a gift, then the adult will buy a special, the recipient has wanted it for a long time. Then like since this is Father's day, I will cook him a special meal of all the things he loves. He does the same for me on my day. Then we just goof off by watching movies, playing games, swimming and having a fun day at home.
