Fathers day not the same as when I was a child

Yet another father's day with no card made at school by the kids, all becuase in England it is now considered politically incorrect to celebrate fathers day in schools on the grounds not all children have fathers ....This would be fair enough but then when mothers day comes round they will make cards for their mothers and if the child has no monther and lives with their dad what happens....They get the child to make one for a grand parent. So why not do the same for fathers day ? Do they do things like this in your country or do you live in England like me and have an opinion I would love to hear from you just to make sure I am not the only one that feels this situation needs to be changed.
