Donations should be banned?

the subject is really hot. It is the general opinion that the donations for the educational institutes shold be banned or not.
Interestingly another argument is that, donations should not be banned. If banned, private institutions cannot survive. Then lakhs of students will go without education. Government doesnt have the funds to provide free education to all. So the institutions worsens!
Insted, to control the donation menance a sealing may be fixed by the government- is another argument.

It is subjective. I have one group of people arguing that the government has taxed us a lot and donations should be solicited. On the other hand, I have another group arguing that government only help large corporations and that small ones should receive aid.

The donation or under table money that they take is very much beyond many bright students. Education has become a business with everyone making money at the cost of the students. If they just needed money to run the colleges and schools as well as make a decent living, they would charge regular fees and not outrageous donations.
