Is your monthly income enough for you and your family?

I wonder how people cope up with their daily expenses. I'd try saving a little every month for emergency purposes. What about you?

You're lucky, but when you're at the right age better help your parents with the expenses in the house :) I guess you're still a student now.

I run a home daycare, so it really depends on the clients I have. During the school year, we are good on making enough money to pay all of our bills and put some extra away to use for vacation time. In the summer, things get all mixed up as I usually am watching teachers kids during the school year. Last year, I had a nice group of kids and made great money. This summer doesn't look so promising. I think that we will be doing a lot of cutting back this summer.

It gets very hard in the summer around here. We have a very strict budget~ every penny we make goes into it. I may have to go out and find another evening job this summer to make ends meet unless I can figure out a way to make a ton of $$ on the web. I am a member of a few great sites, but am very leary of filling out the offers. I may start trying them now a few at a time and see what happens.

Its hard sometimes because the monthly income is unstable. And the monthly bills keeps on coming, right? :)

No,No ones monthly income would be enough in this world because they manage it with that income.Imagine a person earning 5000$ per month world live his life enjoying but think if he would have earned 10000$ then he would have changed his life and started more relaxing life then beore. So we can say that no one's monthly income is enough for them but they try to manage it in their monthly income.

Yes, i try to make things possible for me and I spend what I earn and try not to spend more than I earn coz I know if I will be in trouble. I also have saved something for the rainy days and I am spending less ont he things taht are not important.

i just started a new job and made a budget. As an unmarried single woman its still so hard!! Everything costs so much: gas, phone, car insurance, rent, etc. I save a little every month somehow still, i also have a 401K so 10% of my pay goes in there. I cant imagine having kids, i really dont know how people afford it. I know some people that keep having kids though because the governemt gives them $6,000 for every baby they have but thats still not a lot in the long run. Its like they keep raising the price of everything except people's wages!

I have to juggle stuff around alot! We spend more than we make most definitely, but not on stuff we don't need. My husband is diabetic and we have no insurance at the moment so his meds are expensive. We also have a small business that won't make any real money for us til next year when our original debt is paid off. So we try to make as much money in any little way we can to make ends meet every month. It's all good, we tithe and faithfully depend on God to get us through. So far, it's worked.
