So it' time for everyone to tell what year they were brought into the world in. Also, do you rememeber anything major that happened that year in the news? Or what movies and songs came out of that year?
I was born in 1983 and it's interesting what the search for that year came up with:
-Red rain fell in the UK
-Seatbelt use for passengers and drivers became mandatory in the UK
-The Ash Wednesday fires in South Australia and Victoria killed 76 people
-Tennessee Williams found dead in his hotel room
-The final epsiode of MASH was aired and it became the highest rating episode ever
-Hooters opened up in Florida (w00t!)

-Flashdance
-National Lampoon's Vacation
-Risky Buiness

major things the year i was born-
woodstock
moon landing
charlie manson and family.
i'm pretty certain the musical "hair" came out that year also.

I guess that I am the oldest here as I was born in 1947, years 60 years ago. I cannot remember things that far back as I was too young to think about those things.

I was born 1984...and I guess one event that happened that exact day was John Lennon released his single Borrowed. ^^;

it was the year of 1984 when my parents made the biggest blunder of their life and their sufferings have still not ended...lolzzz!!! my mother still says that i think that she had soen something seriously wrong that God gave me this kind of suffering..hehehehe

Born in 1973. The year of the Yom Kippur War. The end of the Vietnam war(or at least a peace treaty). Watergate. Sydney Opera house opens. In sports, the DH rule is introduced to Baseball, the now infamous O.J. Simpson becomes the first NFL football player to run for 2000+ yards and Secretariat wins the U.S. Triple Crown of Horse Racing.

Rosemary's Baby (1968) came out that year...but I didn't arrive til shortly before the year ended...mom and dad loved me the first yr...instant tax deduction...after that I can't say I was loved...oh and 2001:A Space Odyssey also came out that year...things are so much different than was envisioned...
