do you think it is better have your own business?

I am not sure if it is really good to have my own business.
but I think I don't have the ablity to have my own business now .
recently, my boyfriend always want to start his own business, and he want to be a SOHO (Small office ,home office) one to do international trade .
but I really disagree with him, I think it is really hard to be a SOHO and he don't know anything about international trade, he even have to ask me for all the things.
I try to persuade him give up this thought,but it it so hard to persuade him and he even argue with me for this issue.
I don't know what I should do then.
now he don't listen me any more for this issue.
who can help me ?
or I am wrong, he can have his own opinion to start a new business even he don't know anything about it ?
any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Can't really say I'd ever like to have my own business. Having worked closely with people who have owned their own business, there is so much you need to know, and it would be way too stressful for me. At least if you're working for someone else, they are the ones with the big headache of making sure everything is running smoothly, and keeping their eye on the profits,etc.

If he is really serious about this issue, why don't you change your mind and BOTH of you look for places you can learn together to do international trade? I don't know anything about this, but I bet there are legitimate web sites out there that could help you both.

i think one's own business is too good....only if it is potential though..i wud love to hav a great business of my own...in fact it is much better than working under sumone else...
