If you were stranded on a deserted island what would you take?

If you were allowed 5 items what would they be and why? I would take my kids (they count as one), my cd player (don't have an MP3 player), my camera, my wireless laptop (when I get one), and my husband.

Well, you wireless laptop won't connect to the internet as there are no wireless points! And the laptop and cd player's batteries will soon run out and there will be no means of recharging them!
I will take, a yacht, a desalination plant, a GPS, sea charts, a drum of fuel. I can charge equipment from the engine of the yacht!

1. a solar still, for fresh water
2. a shed
3. a machete
4. a container of tinned food

I can't help but be curious about how you are going to power the cd player, the laptop and the camera when the batteries die. Also, if it is a desert island where will you find a wifi connection for the laptop? Being single I would take my girlfriend at the time if I had one or hope someone would be stranded with me. A book on survival. A very good knife. Some flint. A hand crank transmit and receive radio.
